Founded in 2008; Team 2489, The Insomniacs, is a robotics team located in Fremont, California. We compete in the FIRST Robotics competition annually. We have been very successful as we have been to the World’s competition and have great mentors and leads who encourage everyone to work hard and put forth their best effort to strive. Our team is very large, consisting of 40-45 people! Also, we strive to have good ethical practices within our team to prevent issues and ensure that everyone will be safe in this great environment! This team has performed very well over the few years and we continue to work very hard to achieve the best. Currently, in the 2019-2020 season, we hope to go to World’s for the second time in Team 2489’s history!
